Changes in Life

Sometimes life can dramatically change in what seems like the blink of an eye, you take a breather to re-assess what's happening around you and all of a sudden you're living a totally different, completely amazing life.

Let's backtrack to over a year ago, I had a break-up and was still working in a pub. That's where I met my partner, things moved fast and within months we had fallen pregnant, unfortunately the most heart breaking thing that can happen to 2 people happened to us, we miscarried at about 7 weeks, it was so hard and upsetting for everyone. Even though this broke both of our hearts we decided that having a baby was a goal of ours and we would just carry on and try to move on from our little squishy. We decided that we would not use contraception but not try super hard to become pregnant. I didn't even have chance to have a full menstrual cycle when I had fallen pregnant with our little beautiful baby girl Peach. She is my whole world. We got a place of our own and I gave birth to peach. Life is amazing and being a Mummy to peach is the best thing I have ever done in my life.

So that's life. My life. My world.
and I couldn't be happier.

Make the most of what you have!

 

 Hey there! So, here I have a fun eye look which I created on a total bargain (please ignore the state of my skin) There eyeshadows were purchased off amazon for about £7 I believe, it was a while ago. These are no name eyeshadows but I am in love with this palette! It contains a whopping 168 colours and they are so vibrant, they take work to blend but the colour is soooo worth it. I used the eco tools eyeshadow brush as well as the blending brush. The mascara used was glam eyes lash flirt by Rimmel, and this makes my eyelashes appear extremely long.

On the right here is the palette, the black in the corner I used to line my top lashes with an angled eyeliner brush from ecotools. All of the colours with a red box around them are those that I used! I used the white on the bottom with a blender brush to make it look less harsh and I also highlighted my brow bone with this colour but to be quite honest my eyebrows needed grooming so Ive hung my head in shame and cropped them out! Today was certainly a bad skin day but I think this look completely took the attention away from my flakey horrible skin. Anyway, I have the link for these eyeshadows below. The Importance of happiness!!!

Talking about happiness on a beauty blog? You must be mad!

As awful as it sounds you do not look the slightest bit attractive  if you're moping about with your face hitting the floor. Unfortunately the most beautiful of us all are the ones that are happy.

Happiness can affect your looks in many ways, an example is the way that when you are happy you tend to eat foods that are better for you and look after yourself a little more, this in turn will improve your skin, nails, hair and overall personal hygiene! You can sometimes get so caught up with the bad things in your life that you forget the good stuff which really isn't good for your mental well-being!

Now imagine being stress free, how much do your friend's faces glow when they have less stress for example on the amazing pay day! That is due to the lack of stress and it helps that you can buy some more make-up too.

Beauty isn't just on the outside, when you're unhappy as much as you hate to admit it, you take it out on those you love, your mood surrounds you and you really do appear to by ugly on the inside if you're snappy, angry, or even sad. You want to appear as a stress free, fun loving, beautiful on the inside and out lovely girl. Am I wrong?

Did you know you live longer when you're happier, that's right, it's been scientifically proven that happier people live longer! who wouldn't want to live a longer happier life? Your immune system also improves which means you are less susceptible to illness and you can fight the big C easier! I know I don't look my best when I'm sick.

To top all this off you'll look slimmer and younger! however, please remember that we're all beautiful no matter what and beauty resonates from within us! If you do want to be happier try doing something you love with someone you love! or read a good old novel, I personally love romance novels. If you do feel like you may have a mental health issue that affects your happiness that has gone on for too long please seek professional help, more people go through depression and other mental health issues than you would think. Rimmel London: Apocalips lip lacquer. | REVIEW

colour: 400 Big Bang

Firstly, this colour is beautiful! If you want a simple make-up look with a pop of colour, this is your guy! It is the perfect bright red lip colour, I did try a darker shade which was more wearable throughout the day but then I lost it on some bumper cars :( I then picked another one up but this was not the same shade! This is the perfect consistency between a lip gloss and a lip stain, it has amazing staying power and  is super glossy, however, this does transfer onto whatever your lips touch for example, your 5 year old nieces cheek (hehe) so therefore it doesn't sink into the lips the same way a stain will. Obviously like every other lip product this will need topping up from time to time and it is notorious for getting on your teeth, this problem is easily solved by doing the 'finger trick' once it has been applied. Other than those points though there isn't a bad thing I can say about this product, It is perfect for girls on the go and it does everything in one, it looks like you applied a lipstick followed by lip gloss but we all know you didn't. This is also a super inexpensive buy! half the time Rimmel have offers on to get a number of products for a discounted price but this alone only retails for £6.49 in Boots. Bargain! There are tonnes of colours and for extra pazaz line your lips first with a similar colour! So if you don't believe how fabulous this high street lip product is from me, try it yourself! Have fun!

Quick and Easy Striped Nails!

Hey! Here's a quick and simple nail design. I started by moisturising my hands, this makes it easier to get any messed nail polish off my hands, the cream I used was Bodyshop's hemp hand cream. I used Barry M all in one basecoat, topcoat and nail hardener, this is great to use, it dries quickly and does it all! I then used high maintenance nail polish in the colour rose all over and completed the nail look by drawing in lines with L.A. colors art deco in the colour white and topped it all off with some more Barry M. This is an easy nail look as it is wearable all year round if you play around with the colours.
